This thesis is a study of a group of six working class women who have been to, and graduated from, university. Situated within the radical sociology of education, this work is concerned with implementing a socialist feminist sociological framework to analyse the experiences of a group of six working class women at university. As such, it draws on theories of schooling and inequality to demonstrate how people I s experiences of university are structured according to their gender specific class and ethnic culture.en
