dc.description.abstract | Imprecise querying is a technique where any database query that has no answer can be generalised into a form that does have an answer. This generalisation is done by carefully relaxing the restrictions specified in the query. Imprecise querying can be performed in a variety of database system types, but the majority of work has been in the relational model. | en |
