The Pascal Compiler we use on the Data General Eclipse is an extension of the P-compiler developed at Zurich. The compiler produces intermediate code (P-Codes) for a hypothetical stack machine. In our implementation these P-Codes are then interpreted by a combination of micro-code and machine code. The purpose of this project is to design and implement a peephold for the intermediate P-Codes.en
