Elation Laguerre planes of order 16 are ovoidal (2006)
AuthorsSteinke, G.F.show all
We conduct a computer search for elation Laguerre planes of order 16 and show that each such plane is ovoidal. The search results also confirm the numbers of hyperovals through certain points in the dual translation planes of order 16 given in J. Combin. Des. 4 (1996), 59--65.

Dashti, Farhad (University of Canterbury, 2017)Structural wall system has been one of the most common lateral load resisting elements in reinforced concrete structures. A relatively high stiffness is provided by a structural wall along its in-plane direction making it ...
Non-classical 4-dimensional Minkowski planes obtained as brothers of semiclassical 4-dimensional Laguerre planes Lowen, R.; Steinke, G. F. (University of Canterbury. Dept. of Mathematics, 1998)We describe the first non-classical 4-dimensional Minkowski planes and show that they have 6-dimensional automorphism groups. These planes are obtained by a construction of Schroth from generalized quadrangles ...
