Abstract

The aim of this project is to design and implement a program that accepts the output from the TROFF package and produces the equivalent of phototypesetter output on the Printronix. Since the Printronix when operating in graphics mode simply plots points the program must be responsible for the creation and the scaling of the character images to be plotted.
